Cruelty free: 8 parfymtester från SomethinSpecial!

Jag har pratat om märket SomethinSpecial förut, ett amerikanskt litet independent märke som inte bara specialiserar sig på att göra djurvänliga "kopior" på kända parfymmärken (tex Guerlain, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Tokyo Milk, Dior, Tom Ford, Narciso Rodriguez) utan även gör även egna parfymblandningar, både feminina, maskulina & unisex. Ju oftare jag köper från SomethinSpecial desto mer imponerad blir jag. Deras grejer är så JÄVLA bra!

Nu tänkte jag recensera 8 stycken små tester jag fick i min senaste beställning. Det är mycket vanilj och "foody" scents, men ändå en viss blandning. Jag ville kartlägga exakt vilka dofter som skulle kunna passa mig hos SomethinSpecial. Skriver på engelska för jag har recenserat dem på amerikansk sajt också & är för lat för att översätta hehe  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

BROWN SUGAR & FIG

"A delightfully complex fragrance composed of top notes of fresh figs, peaches and passion fruit; followed by middle notes of coconut milk, vanilla orchid, jasmine, muguet and freesia; well-balanced with base notes of vanilla beans, caramel, maple sugar, fig leaves and musk."

Mitt utlåtande: I have lately come to realize that I really like fig, but not on its own. And in this lovely concoction the fig comes to its perfection. Its a natural sweetness mix - fresh fruits, soft natural vanilla beans and a lovely brown sugary base. This is very good, and very original. Hats off!

SPANK ME LEATHER

"Notes of sensual vanilla, cashmere musk, brushed suede, dark leather and myrrh"

Mitt utlåtande: Alooot of leather. And a little cashmere and vanilla kiss in top of it. This is for me a perfect layer perfume, and not a perfume I would wear alot on its own. But for the leathery tone lovers out there this would be a hit. Very unisex. 

DEAD SEXY

"A mysterious woody and warm perfume of exotic wood, rich vanilla, floral white orchid and dark ebony"

Mitt utlåtande: Inspired by Tokyo Milk Dead Sexy. Woody but girly vanilla scent. Very soft, inviting, warm and beautiful scent. I think a little about Yves Rochers Vanille Noire, which was an old favourite of mine.

BLACK RASPBERRY VANILLA

"An enticing blend of blackberries and raspberries, with middle notes of white floral greenery, and bottom notes of musk and vanilla"

Mitt utlåtande: Alot of sweetfresh raspberry and a little vanilla. Definitely a must have for berry sweet tooth lovers out there.

NARCISSIST

"A seductive blend of warm, woodsy Egyptian musk and enchanting patchouli spiced with the subtle sweetness of cinnamon, orange blossom and hints of anise" 

Mitt utlåtande: Inspired by Narciso. I think Somethinspecials Narcissist is even better than the original, because I get alot more of the lovely fruity ingredients than a very dominant musk. This is not the sort of perfume i normally like but this one - this one i cant stop sniffing at home.

BLUE SUGAR

"Fresh citrus creates a shimmering lift for this sensual vanilla based scent. Floral at the heart of the fragrance intertwines with fresh green tones and rich patchouli. The vanilla signature at the base of the scent is balanced with soft musk and warmed by exotic woody tones for lingering sensuality. " 

Mitt utlåtande: Inspired by Aquolina Blue Sugar. Blue Sugar is a very unisex, sweet and original. To me a get alot of sugary anise and peppery cinnamon. Its all quite fresh concoction.

FLOATING ISLE

"Float away with this blend of vanilla, sandalwood and lemon."

Mitt utlåtande: Floating Isle was the only one that really wasn't for all my samples. Strange enough, cause the combination sounded simple and perfect. But i get to much synthethic lemon & too little vanilla/sandalwood. I highly recommend the "Vanilla Sandalwood" perfume instead, for those who love that combo. It is DIVINE!

VANILLA SUGAR

"Creamy vanilla, sandalwood and coconut with a hint of musk and amber"

Mitt utlåtande: Vanilla Sugar is SWEET! But sweet in the right way - not chemical, just natural sweet. Just soft, sweet and inviting. So easy and so good.
